Who we are

Ruuton is a personal life-planning app. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it. Ruuton is not a medical service. Nothing in the app or on this site is medical advice.

Data we collect

We collect the minimum needed to run your weekly plan and evaluation:

• Account: e-mail address
• Profile: gender, birth year, height, weight, fitness level, available equipment, training duration preference, cardio preference, other sports, nutrition preferences, injury/limitation notes, focus muscle group, module preferences
• Goals and plans: your goals and the weekly plans Ruuton generates
• Logs: workout sessions, nutrition entries, activity records, weight entries (weight tracking can be disabled in Settings)
• Check-ins: energy level, mood, free-form notes
• Skincare: skin-related information you enter
• AI conversations: messages you exchange with Ruu (only if you enable the AI feature)

Your unit choice (kg/lb, cm/ft-in, km/mi) is saved as a preference; measurements are stored in metric.

Why we collect it

To generate and evaluate your weekly plan across training, nutrition, learning, and skincare. We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to anyone.

Third-party services

• Supabase: database and authentication, hosted in the United States
• Render: backend server, hosted in the United States
• Google Gemini API: AI features (only if you grant permission in the app). When active, relevant context from your profile and logs is sent to Google's paid API tier. Data sent to Google is subject to Google's terms.

No advertising networks. No analytics SDKs. No data brokers.

Data transmission

All data is transmitted between your device and our servers over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).

Retention and deletion

Your data is retained until you delete your account. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete my account. Deletion is immediate and permanent. Note: data previously sent to the Google Gemini API is subject to Google's own retention policy.

Age

Ruuton is not intended for anyone under 16.
